Website & Brand Strategy
The Township of Carling has a genuinely marvellous history and a fantastic team. However, like many townships, they suffer from an online presence that had become obsolete and did not allow them to engage with their community, businesses and tourists. The Township of Carling website was hosted with a Joomla CMS and needed an update to meet AODA and WCAG compliance and reach its community. With the need for a new website, AODA compliance and a branding refresh, our team got to work.

Stradea migrated the Joomla site into a WordPress platform and got to work. During our discovery sessions, we discussed the wants and needs of the Carling staff and developed an entirely new online presence for the Carling team.
Our build focused on user experience, WCAG best-practices, and leveraging on-page SEO, which hadn’t been done in the previous site.
Our mobile-first approach allowed a unique experience for users via mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. The project included a complete web design overhaul, brand logo and style guide updates and in-person training sessions to ensure the teams knew how to manage the site once completed.
