Leo is a multidisciplinary UX designer, educator, and creative practitioner whose work sits at the intersection of human-centred design, systems thinking, and artistic practice. With a strong foundation in user research, interaction design, and accessibility-aware workflows, Leo brings clarity and intention to complex digital experiences, translating user needs into elegant, usable solutions.
Alongside his design practice, Leo is an experienced teacher and mentor, known for his ability to break down complex UX concepts into practical, approachable learning experiences. His teaching emphasizes critical thinking, empathy, and iterative problem-solving, helping emerging designers build both technical skill and design judgment.
Before transitioning fully into UX, Leo spent over a decade as a professional jazz musician based in New York City. Performing, composing, and collaborating in one of the world’s most demanding creative ecosystems shaped his approach to design: deep listening, improvisation within constraints, collaboration, and responsiveness to context. These qualities continue to inform his UX work, particularly in facilitation, user research, and design critique.
Leo’s rare combination of design rigour, pedagogical strength, and artistic discipline makes him a thoughtful designer and educator who understands both systems and people, structure and spontaneity. He brings a calm, intentional presence to teams and classrooms alike, grounded in experience and driven by curiosity.
